Mia Akrap exhibits at the 38th Youth Salon in Zagreb
Salon of Young Artists, a biennial and the largest national exhibition platform dedicated to visual artists under the age of 35, presents its 38th edition this year, opening on Thursday, 3 September 2026 at 7 PM at the Oktogon (NMMU).
The 38th edition of the Salon of Young Artists comprises three exhibition programmes. ANEMOIA (3–27 September), curated by Dario Vuger and Miran Blažek, presents the work of 39 young artists at the Oktogon (NMMU). Situation: “Salon of Young Artists pt. 2” (8–24 September), curated by Antun Sekulić, brings together works by 29 young artists across several locations: the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Kamba Gallery, Klet Studio-Gallery, and the Autonomous Cultural Centre Attack. The exhibition of award-winning students of the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Zagreb, Venientes (11–27 September), will be held at Gallery 112.
Mia Akrap’s work Spring of Phantoms will be on view at the Oktogon (NMMU) as part of the ANEMOIA programme from 3 to 27 September.
