Mila Panić

Mila Panić (1991, Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is an artist and stand-up comedian born in Bosnia. Her artistic work ranges from personal documentation to poetic visual and discursive elements through which she creates a cycle that interprets the various legacies of migration. She is the host of the podcast Broken English, which explores the politics of language and the question of how to live between two or more languages. She is also a co-founder of the collective and association Fully Funded Residencies.eV.

Panić is the recipient of the ZVONO YVVA Award of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2021) and has received numerous grants and scholarships, including the Stiftung Kunstfond Bonn (2023), Braunschweig Projects Art Scholarship (2022/23), Koganecho Bazaar A-i-R Manager Internship in Residence (Japan), Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop, Residency Unlimited in New York (USA), and others. Her works are part of collections such as the Imago Mundi – Luciano Benetton Collection, the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, and private collections.
